Alright I don't know if I screwed something up with the downloading process or something, but the mod isn't working for me.- The title screen doesn't say 'Drought'- The slugcat selection screen takes me to one option, my normal Survivor savefile (cycle 206, drainage system)- My slugcat is invisible when I load the savefile??- I get stuck going back and forth in the pipe if I try to leave my shelter- Eventually the screen goes all rectangle-y and pixeled, and then the escape key doesn't workI restarted my PC and launched it again, but the results were the same.Is this a common bug? Rain World Drought works with Partiality v0.3.11 and later!!!Simply drag 'Rain World Drought.dll' into the 'Mods' folder in your rain world installation folder.Then merge the 'Rain World' folder from this mod with the 'Rain World' installation folder.Finally, run Partiality, check the 'Rain World Drought' checkbox and install the mod.I think you are missing the mod custom assets. Check if you dragged the 'Rain World' folder inside the Drought Mod zip file to your installation folder.
This mod is definitely pretty good, especially in the environments department (although not every room is like that).The only issues I have with it are minor or rare, but they definitely contribute to my overall enjoyment. This mod totally replaces the Survivor campaign and removes the Monk and Hunter campaigns.
That means to start playing this mod you gotta use a new save and not just start a new campaign on the same save as a different character. Dragon Walkers look undercooked. No chomping noises when you get caught, no noises at all, animations are super weird. Compared to Raindeer these are just eh. Creature and food spawners sometimes break to the point of being ridiculous.

Near the end of the first area, the game decided to spawn a lot of Dragon Walkers, but barely any centipedes. I was stuck in such a way that going all the way to the left you're greeted to a pond you can't escape from and all the way to the right there's a gate requiring a good enough Karma.
Basically I was trapped and forced to suicide. The level design didn't give me enough leeway to successfully complete a cycle. I never had that issue in Vanilla, since levels are either open-ended, so finding food is easier or linear, but complete-able in one run if you're quick enough and before that long-stretch you can restock if you need a bigger level.
The starting area of the Wanderer is linear and doesn't allow you to correct your low Karma. Seriously, even the Memory Crypts was better about this - it has the curtesy to have a low-requirement Karma gate. I've only gotten to play a little bit so far and haven't left the first area, and while I'm enjoying it well enough, there are a number of things that are putting me off.The dragon walkers are very meh. They have no texture whatsoever, and make no bite sound. The raindeer style legs don't look quite right. Their AI is very wonky, you can just run right by them and their AI will rarely function properly enough to catch you.I've experienced some lighting bugs, specifically involving lighting jumping from one time of day to a different time of day.I've been getting some frame chug that I never experienced in the base game.I'm excited to see what else the mod has to offer and I am very appreciative of the work the team put into it, but I think it could have used a little more work before release.
Im trying to enjoy this mod but i keep getting murderfucked by shit spawns.for what its worth, i dont consider 'shit spawns' to be a valid excuse in regards to the base game, but this feels like more a developer oversight than an actual game issue. The linear nature of this first area means your pretty dependent on good food spawns and spear spawns depending on the enemies.
Its always one or the other that doesnt seem to synchronise. Ill get a spawn with good food but then the dragon walkers aggressively attack and spawn in groups of 2 or 3 and theres also a vulture, a leapzard and 2 green lizards at either side of the screen. I appreciate difficulty but if i dont have a spear theres not a whole lot i can really do, due to the linear nature of the first area i cant go around. And if i manage to get past, that area that you either need a spear or a squidcada to jump to a ledge, the same room with the popcorn plant, neither will spawn.im not sure if having 5 karma increases the enemy AI aggressiveness but it seems to, especially with the dragon walkers. They more often than not camp squarely above the only pipe to proceed and aggressively kill you if you get anywhere near it.im enjoying parts of it but it just feels like theres a bit too much luck involved in trying to line up a cycle with good food spawns, spear spawns and enemy spawns. The base game avoided this by not being strictly linear.
