Mediatonic Limited is a British video game developer based in London. The company was founded in September 2005 by two Brunel University students, David Bailey and Paul Croft. A group of industry veterans including Ian Livingstone, Kelly Sumner and Geoff Heath, invested in the company in 2010 and the company subsequently raised an undisclosed amount of Venture Capital funding from Frog Capital in January 2012.[1][2]
History[edit]
Mediatonic was founded in September 2005 by two undergraduate students, David Bailey and Paul Croft, during their final year of study at Brunel University.[3] The company's first game was a viral flash game called Snowman Salvage released in the winter of 2005.[4]The game provided a case study for Mediatonic to expand into Flash conversions for the Casual game Industry. Early games customers were businesses like PopCap, Big Fish Games and PlayFirst. In the early years, the company built casual titles in Flash such as Bejeweled and Diner Dash.[5]Mediatonic expanded into creating original franchises with its partners around 2007. One of the first significant successes was Amateur Surgeon[6] which, according to the Adult Swim website was played over 56 million times; making it their most played title of all time.[7]The company expanded into smartphone development in 2008/2009 with the launch of its own title, Must.Eat.Birds.[8][9]In 2009 the company began investing in original IPs more aggressively.[10]
Since 2011 the company has been working on larger titles including Foul Play for Xbox and PC,[11][12] Amateur Hospital for Facebook (which received the company's first BAFTA Nomination)[13] and Amateur Surgeon 2 and 3,[14][15] a free-to-play mobile game for iOS.
The company's first studio outside of London was in Brighton[16][17] and it has since established studios in Guilford, Madrid and Leamington Spa[18][19].

The squishing sounds and liquid explosions—which are even better if you can turn on Nvidia Flex without taking a massive performance hit—are a big part of what makes Killing Floor 2 satisfying even when it’s repetitive.Mod squadWhat takes KF2 from good to great—and this will invite some ire, I’m sure—is Tripwire’s commitment to making multiplayer games that work like multiplayer games should. You can swipe left, right, down, and up by tapping WASD before attacking, perform light and heavy attacks, and time blocks with attacks to knock back specimens. Killing floor 2 release date. Removing multiple Zed heads at once with a well timed katana swipe is a sight to behold, especially if it triggers one of Killing Floor 2’s slow-mo moments, which occur when any player on the team does something cool.KF2’s gore system flings around limbs and giblets with grotesque glee. I especially love how blood splatter builds up as the waves go by, painting entire rooms and areas red.
