The story continues from the previous game, the ship that Patapons and Zigotons built was finally completed. They began to search for new lands. However, a surprise occurred; on the way, suddenly, a Kraken attacked and threw them into the ocean, drifting into a new land – the home of PatapolisHere the Patapons fought another tribe called the Karmen. They entered a war with this tribe to find out who is their true enemy.

At the beginning of the game, the Patapons had discovered a mysterious hero wearing a mask capable of helping them increase their fighting ability. However, this person had lost his memory and his true identity had been forgotten and hidden.As in the previous version, players will play the role of a tiny, one eye tribal god, called Patapon. Their ship has been destroyed by a giant sea creature and these people are in great need of your help.

Players will command this tribe using the Drum of Valor – one of their instruments. Characters will tap short rhythms to be able to order Patapon to move, attack, and defend. At first, you will find it quite simple but then the game introduces new commands with much more difficult complexity.
